Chizhou is a riverside city with superior location. It is an important node city of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, one of the 27 cities in the Central Area of the Yangtze River Delta City Cluster, an important member of the Urban Belt’s Industrial Transfer Demonstration Zone alongtheYangtze River in Anhui,and a core city of the Southern Anhui International Cultural Tourism Demonstration Zone. Beijing-Taiwan,Shanghai-Chongqing, Ji’nan-Guangzhou,Dezhou-Shangrao, Anqing-Dongzhi andDongzhi-Jiujiang Expressway,as well asNanjing-Anqing High-Speed Railway and Tongling-Jiujiang Railway, all pass through the city.The Chizhou-Huangshan High-Speed Railway has been completed and put into operation.  TheJiuhuashan Airport has opened 10domestic key city routes. Chizhou Port is a first-class national open port witha handling capacity of over 100 million tons.The city also has the only cruise ship docking point on the Yangtze River in Anhui Province and a foreign-related touristpier — Chizhou Jiuhua Mountain TouristPier. The city has fully integrated into the Yangtze River Delta 3-hour Metropolitan Area, Nanjing and Hefei 1.5-hour Commuter Circle.
